Trash and recycling in the City of Two Rivers is picked up curbside. Instead of being billed for the service or adding it to the property taxes, trash stickers are required on each item placed out for pick-up. Each 30 gallons of garbage placed at the curb will require a sticker. Only garbage containers with stickers will be picked up. Stickers must be attached to the outside of bags or on the handle of cans.
Garbage may be contained in:
- 30 gallon garbage cans
- 30 gallon plastic cans
- Any multiple of the above
- Examples:
- 3 – 30 gallon bags = 3 stickers
- 1 – 90 gallon garbage toter = 3 stickers
Stickers are available for $2.50 each at the following locations:
- Lester Public Library
- Piggly Wiggly
- Pick ‘N Save
- Two Rivers City Hall Customer Service
- Kwik Trip
- Uni-Mart Convenience Stores
- Patsy’s Hwy 42 Mobil Mart

Large Item Sticker Requirements
Because large items will not fit into a 30 gallon or
90 gallon container, the following list of stickers are
required for large items:
- Kitchen Chair 2 Stickers
- Box Spring – Queen/Full 3 Stickers
- Box Spring – King 4 Stickers
- Kitchen Table 3 Stickers
- Love Seat 3 Stickers
- Living Room Chair 3 Stickers
- Mattress – Queen/Full 3 Stickers
- Mattress – King 4 Stickers
- Toilet 3 Stickers
- Sink 3 Stickers
- Sofa 4 Stickers
- Sofa with Bed 5 Stickers
- Carpet (cut to 6′ x 6′) 2 Stickers each

Due to environmental and safety standards,
the landfill must refuse the following list of items:

- Lead Acid Batteries
- Waste Oil
